The 1.3 million square foot Dayton’s Project is the cultural icon of the Upper Midwest. It has an indelible place in architectural history as the center of Minneapolis commerce, the birthplace of Target Corporation, and was host to yearly, civic events for over one hundred years. With over $450 million in total development investments, the Dayton’s Project is the nation’s second largest Historic Tax Credit project and this region’s most complicated redevelopment initiative. As the Owner Representative for the 601W Companies, Hightower Initiatives was assigned to lead the navigation and delivery of this high-profile venture.
